Description:Bismuth subcarbonate is the white powder,no smell or taste.Its relative density is 6.86,decomposes carbon dioxide bismuth oxide at the temperature 308.Gradually decomposes and degenerate under the light.Undissolved in water or ethanol,easily dissolves in inorganic acid(nitric acid,hydrochloric acid),acetic acid and ammonium chloride solution,slightly dissolves in alkali metal carbonate solution.
